It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lori Slate of Taylors, South Carolina, born in Mount Airy, North Carolina, who passed away on July 5, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Slate and Geneva McCraw Slate; and her sister Linda Slate Edwards. She is survived by: her son Ethan Dakota Slate; her siblings, Lisa Slate Davis and Coy Slate, Jr. (Sharon); her niece Heather Edwards; and her nephews, Connor Davis, Shitzu and Kane.
