He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Polk and Lucille Leek Polk; and his brother Jimmy Douglas Polk. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Polk of Taylors, SC; his sons, John Polk and Douglas Lee Polk; his grandchildren, James Douglas Polk, Kirra Lee Polk and Liam Jacob Polk; and his siblings, Elmer Junior Polk and Mary Martha Dodson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; two great-great-nephews; and many cousins.
