It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leslie Harold Dean of Taylors, South Carolina, born in Buckhannon, West Virginia, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oran Dean and Hilton Virigina Westfall Dean; his wife Evelyn Mae Heavner Dean; and his brother Charlie Dean. He is survived by: his children, Steven Dean (Joy) of Indianapolis, IN, James Dale Dean (Elisa) of Anderson, SC, Virginia Vernon (William) of Pearl River, LA and Cheryl Dean Headley (Lee) of Taylors, SC; and his siblings, Donald Dean (Sylvia) and Margaret Ann Miller of Buckhannon. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
