It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Swiney (Taylors, South Carolina), who passed away on July 24, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrol Dotson and Grace Sullivan Dotson; and her siblings, Jimmy Dotson, Virginia Belcher and Lolita Horn.

She is survived by: her husband Glen Roger Swiney; her children, Grant Ratliff (Jennifer) of Campobello, Trena McDaniel (Darren), Tresea of Inman and Heather Dunn (Kevin) of Greer; her sister Ann Kidder of Paris, KY; and her grandchildren, Patrick, Eric, Logan, Walela, Samantha, Morgan, Rebekah, Amber, Brooke and Little Darren.
