She was predeceased by: her husband Ben Steven "Steve" DeYoung; and her parents, Esley Dupree "Tick" Fowler and Mary Etta Cheek Fowler. She is survived by: her son Jason; her daughter-in-law Mary Compton DeYoung; her grandsons, Harrison and Benjamin DeYoung; and her sister Mary Lou DeYoung.
