She was predeceased by: her son Norm Holby; and her brother John Schlasner. She is survived by: her children, Jerry Holby of Minneapolis, MN, Jeff Holby (Dianne) of Evans, CO, Tom Goettsche (Kathy) of Taylors and Debra Goettsche of Cincinnati, OH; her brother Moury Schlasner (Jean) of Apple Valley, MN; and her grandchildren, Krystal Holby, Elizabeth Holby, Kaelyn Goettsche, Addison Goettsche, J. J. Holby, Amber Brandt, Conrad Bower, Harvey Bower and Frances Bower.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wreaths Across America, P.O. Box 451, Norris, SC 29667 (to place flags and wreaths on Veteran's graves across the state).
