He was predeceased by: his parent Donnie Ray Russell, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Gladys Carver Russell; his children, Shailyn Holcombe, Kylie Russell, Brooklyn Russell and Taner Russell; his grandchildren, Kinsleigh Hixon, Cohen Morris, Aubree Gilbert and Brantley Barron; and his brother Donnie Russell, Jr..
