He was predeceased by: his parents, James Elford Kirby and Helen Louise Kirby (Gordon); his brother James David Kirby; and his wife Carol Jeanne Kirby (Molitor). He is survived by: his daughter Catharine Kirby; his grandchildren, Lauren Nannery, Bret Bendixen (Kellsey) and Connor Bendixen; and his great grandchild Quinn Bendixen.
