He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John W. Barnette of Taylors and Betty Wilson Barnette; his wife Betsy Funderburk Barnette; his daughter Brooke Barnette of Taylors; his sister Frankie Bradley of Taylors; and his grandchildren, Addyson Barnette, J. D. Barnette and Jason Barnette.
