It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Megilligan Griffin of Taylors, South Carolina, born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, E. W. Davis and Nobie Mae Frady Davis; her former husband John Paul Megilligan, Sr.; and her husband Hugh Griffin. She is survived by: her children, John Megilligan (Teresa), Beverly Burry (Doug) and Gregory Megilligan; her brothers, Thomas Davis (Carolyn) and Steve Davis (Janie); and her grandchildren, Candice Megilligan, Holly Megilligan, Ashley Gosnell, Doug Burry and Jeff Burry. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
