He was predeceased by: his parents, James O'Neill and Elizabeth O'Neill (Fries); his wife Joan Ellen Schuch O'Neill; his children-in-law, Lesa O'Neill and Thomas O'Connell; his grandson-in-law James; and his siblings, Betty Brayman, James "Brut" and Henry O'Neill.
He is survived by: his children, Ellen Collins (Michael), Patricia "Trish" O'Connell, Kevin O'Neill (Lisa), Brian O'Neill and Stephen O'Neill; his grandchildren, Erica Huddleston, Sonia Hatherley (Steve), Scott Collins (Valerie), Shelby, Kaelyn and Kasey O'Neill; and his great grandchildren, Aurora, Brady, Lucas, Mikah, Logan and Zachary.
