With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Robert Houston (Taylors, South Carolina), born in Seneca, South Carolina, who passed away on October 21, 2019 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Andrew and Margaret Houston; his daughter Toni Houston; and his siblings, Chuck, Boe, Skip Houston, Lillian Taft, Dorothy Moore and Patricia Heaton.

He is survived by: his children, Rene, Edwards, David Houston, Kim, Stephanie Knox, Johnny, Scott Houston, Amy and Stanley Houston. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
