She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Hampton and Mae Price Ruff; and her brother James Edward Ruff. She is survived by: her husband Bill Clifton; her children, Amy C. Godwin (Ron) of Taylors and Billy Clifton (LeighAnne) of Aiken; her grandchildren, Emily Godwin Laster (Robert), Mary Godwin, Bryce Clifton (Kylie Turner) and Allee Clifton Mathis (Hamilton); and her sister-in-law Elizabeth "Lib" Ruff.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Taylors First Baptist Church or Hampton Heights Baptist Church.
