It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Galina Astapeyeva (Taylors, South Carolina), who passed away on October 29, 2019, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Nikolai Yegorovich Astapeyev; and her son Ostap Nikolayevich Astapeyev. She is survived by: her children, Yegor Astapeyev, Ekaterina Reikh and Tatyana Brannon; her grandchildren, Elizaveta Reikh, Alexandra Astapeyeva, Maxat Sakenov, Dimitriy Astapeyev, Rufina Reikh, Nikolai Astapeyev and Nicole Brannon; her great grandchild Margarita Marakhovskaya; her brother Alexander Nemirov; her children-in-law, Oxana Astapeyeva, David Brannon and Saken Agazhanov; her nephews, Denis Fedorov, Artyom Fedorov, Andrei Nemirov and Ivan Nemirov; and her close friends, Zoya, Nikolai Sazanov, Magrifa, Orynbasar Pashimov and Natalia Gorcheneva. She is also survived by cousins and uncles.
