He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Preston Asbury and Mattie B. Smith Bennett; his wife Georgia W. Heard Bennett; and his children, Pamela Louise Bennett Askew (Curtis) of Greer and Spencer Bennett (Sharon) of Taylors. He was also cherished by five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
