He is survived by: his spouse Kathleen McCarty Meister of Taylors; his parent Madeline Stalzer Meister; his children, Colleen Meister Christian, Brian Richard Meister of Columbia and Jeffrey Edwin Meister (Emiline) of Simpsonville; his son-in-law Donald Albert Joyner; his grandchildren, Christopher Joyner, Kerrie Joyner, Sean Michael Joyner, James Christian, III, McCarty Christian, Abby Meister, Alex Meister, Oakley Meister and Oliver Meister; his great grandchild Cole Alexander Joyner; and his brother Charles Meister.
