She is survived by: her pets, Sassy, Misha and Lucky; her daughters, Ruth Mason McElvain of Taylors, Kathy Mason Bankston of Taylors, Lisa Mauldin Rehm (Jeff) of Simpsonville, Dawn Mauldin Brailsford (John) of Taylors and Heather Brent (Jamie Wallace) of Charlotte; her stepdaughters, Connie Brogdon (Chris) of Atlanta and Brenda Martin of Jacksonville, Florida; her siblings, George Barfield, Ethel Mae Hunter, Becky Nickerson and Will Barfield; and her grandchildren, Ryan McElvain, Christopher McElvain, Brook McElvain, Mira Bankston, Megan O'Brien, Andrew Graves, Chelsea Graves, Maddie Laughlin and Atticus Wallace. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
