He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Kelley Nelson; his sons, Mark Nelson (Christie) and Michael Nelson (Sharon); his grandchildren, Michael Nelson, Jr., Wyatt Nelson (Alli), Emily Nelson, Joseph Nelson and Clark Nelson; and his siblings, Lib Landreth (Joe), Joyce Greene and Rick Nelson.
