He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Moise and Helen Mohoda Harrison Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Amy Lynn Tecklenberg Johnson; his children, Zachary Johnson, Benjamin Johnson, Joel Johnson (Rylee), Jeremiah Johnson, Jedidiah Johnson, Stephen Johnson, Isaiah Johnson, Hope Johnson, Patience Johnson, Anastasia Johnson and Catherine Johnson; his brothers, David Johnson (Nancy) and Richard Johnson (Sally); and his grandchildren, Malachi Johnson and Indy Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Evangelical Institute or The Great Commission, 700 N. Parker Rd., Greenville, SC 29609.
