He was predeceased by: his siblings, Coy Campbell, Ray Campbell and Sara Hammond; and his grandson Andrew Campbell. He is survived by: his wife Clara Ernestine Cannon Campbell; his children, Cynthia "Cindy" Sloan (Larry) of Clemson, Leland Campbell (Debbie) of Campobello and Dale Campbell (Suzanne) of Greer; his sister Hazel Strong of Greer; and his grandchildren, Amy Henson (Kevin), Chris Sloan (Tamara), Jeff Campbell (Angie), Scott Sloan (Jennifer) and Kristin Campbell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Creek Baptist Church, 1100 Camp Creek Rd., Taylors, SC 29687.
