With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clarence Russell Newton of Taylors, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 11, 2025 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Clarence and Fannie Lou Price Newton; and his brother Ricky Newton. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Drum Newton; his daughters, Tammy Waddell (Brent) of Lyman, SC and Donna Stone (Eric) of Lyman, SC.; his grandchildren, Joshua Stone (Sarah) of Lyman, SC, Brandon Stone (Araya) of Spartanburg, SC and Alyssa Waddell of Lyman, SC.; and his great grandchild Eva Stone.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM and at 2:00 PM.
