He is survived by: his wife Monique Southard Strange; his son Ryan Strange (Kristen) of Greer; his sister Karen Barbare of Landrum; his grandchildren, Charlie Strange and Thomas Strange; his nephews, Nick Barbare (Amy) and Seth Barbare (Abby); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaelynn, Aiden and Addie.

“I’m so sorry for your loss. I went to school with Chris at Blue Ridge and met you at our last reunion. He always worked so hard on it. Covid has no choice for the live it takes. May God give you comfort and peace in days to come. I didn’t know that Karen was his sister until I read the obituary. I’ll keep all in my prayers. Dianne Grumbles”
