Charles P. Brown Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles P. Brown of Taylors, South Carolina, born in Greenville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Brown and Moda Campbell Brown; and his sister Pherby Hamrick. He is survived by: his wife Helen L. Brown of Taylors; his children, Weylin Brown (Brian Hollifield) and Marjorie Brown; his sisters, Lucille Duncan, Genevieve Satterfield and Sue Cox; and his grandchildren, Madelyn Brown, Marissa Brown and Miles Brown.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Downtown Chapel (639 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Saint Andrews Episcopal Church (1002 S Main St, Greenville, SC 29601).
