She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin Dean Brookshire; her parents, Thomas Leroy and Lena Pearl Waters Duncan; her daughter-in-law Gayle Franklin Brookshire; and her siblings, Alvin Duncan, Mildred Vaughn and Lorene Hall.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby D. Brookshire of Taylors and Judy C. Lynch (Henry) of Sunset Beach; her siblings-in-law, Freddy, Frances Brookshire of Taylors and Nancy Duncan of Easley; her granddaughter April Roberts (Scott); her great grandchildren, Jackson and Sydney Roberts; her nieces, Gayle Vaughn of Greer, Carolyn Duncan of Greer, Julie Duncan of Easley and Lee Ann Duncan of North Augusta; and her nephew Joe Vaughn of Greer.
