Anne Katherine Newman Elsey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Katherine Newman Elsey of Taylors, South Carolina, born in Sumter, South Carolina, who passed away on March 30, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Jack Newman; and her brother James Jackson Newman. She is survived by: her husband Thurman; her children, Art Thurman Arthur Elsey, III of Charlotte, NC and Alicia Elsey Sastry (Ravi) of Greenville, SC; her granddaughters, Mary Margaret Elsey Rackett (Hunter), Grace Newman Elsey, Annacie Katherine Sastry, Bronwyn Elsey Sastry and Lydia Arthur Elsey; and her siblings, Vira Jean Newman Parks of Plum Branch, SC and Daniel Allen Newman of North Charleston, SC.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
