He is survived by: his wife Dodi Spurgeon; his children, Danny Spurgeon of Mauldin, SC, George McCarroll (Ernestine) of Spartanburg, SC, Fredrick (Frances0 McCarroll), Steven McCarroll (Sharon) of Inman, SC and Rosland Spurgeon of Mauldin, SC; and his siblings, Mary Johnson (Charles) of Greenville, SC, Shirley Wilson (Roy) of Greer, SC, Willie Spurgeon (Ann) of Greenville, SC, Roy Spurgeon (Edith) of Mauldin, SC, Thomas Spurgeon of Columbia, SC, Charles Spurgeon (Gail) of Greenville, SC and Gregory Spurgeon of Greer, SC. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, other nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
