It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Altha Y Howard (Taylors, South Carolina), born in Burnsville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 28, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Young and Virginia Sims Young; and her siblings, Mark Young and Gail Dill. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Perry Howard Sr.; her children, William Perry Howard Jr. (Dana) of Landrum, Mary Lynne Barnette (Billy) of Cedar Point, NC, Amy Howard Bell (Mark) of Landrum and Michelle Cornett (Michael) of Landrum; and her sister Rachel Litchfield of Landrum.
