With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Reed Sparks (Tamassee, South Carolina), born in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, who passed away on August 31, 2020 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reed Clement and Gladness Purser Wright Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Connie Sparks; his children, Reed Sparks of Ft. Thomas, KY, Brett Sparks of Cincinnati, OH, Josh Stratton (Suzy) of Overland Park, KS, Sarah Kleier (Matthew) of Ft. Thomas, KY and Bailey Duncan (Dominic) of Columbus, OH; his siblings, Scott Sparks of Richwood, KY, Linda Sparks of Parrish, FL and Sally Muehlenkamp of Ft. Thomas, KY; and his grandchildren, Meredith Kleier, Christopher Sparks, Tyler Brown, Devin Truelove, Jon Stratton, Kaitlin Stratton and Violet Hill.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Tamassee DAR School, P.O. Box 8, Tamassee, SC 29686, in thanks to the staff and students for their love and support.
