He was predeceased by: his father Carl Payne; his brother Berry Payne of Bowersville Georgia; and his grandparents, Ralph, Margret Payne of Bowersville, Joe and Bonnie "Sue" Hulsey of Martin, Georgia..

He is survived by: his mother Mary Payne; his wife Sharon of Salem, SC; his sons, Carlton Payne of Lynchburg Virginia, Josiah Payne and Jacob Payne of Salem, SC.; and his nephews, Will Lee, Nathan Lee, Ray Green and Conner Bridges.

The family will receive friends from 2:00- 3:00P.M.
