It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Martin Hopkins of Tamassee, South Carolina, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Eva Jones Hopkins; and his siblings, Wallace Hopkins, Virginia Galloway and Barbara "Bob" Moss.
He is survived by: his spouse Wavalene Cothran Hopkins of Tamassee; his son Timothy Hopkins (Jennifer); his siblings, John Thomas "Tommy" Hopkins, Betty Hopkins, Kathiryn McAlister and Linda Partin; his grandchildren, Tori Hopkins, Avie Hopkins and Elijah Hopkins; and his niece Brandi Hopkins.
