She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Alex Jennings and Alma Kirkland Jennings; her husband George Horace Cone of Sycamore; her son Donald K. "Kenny" Cone; her daughter-in-law Delaine Cone of Allendale; her brother Jim Jennings (Lee) of North Charleston; her nephews, Randy Jennings of Moncks Corner and Ted Cone of Sycamore; and her close friend Pearle Googe of Fairfax.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Alex Cone (Michael Duncan) of Edisto Beach and Andy Cone (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Justin Joiner and Braden Joiner of Graniteville; her daughter-in-law Nelia Cone of Chapin; her nephews, Jerry Cone of Sycamore and Wyndy Jennings (Lisa) of Pinopolis; and her niece Lynn Jennings of Dunkirt, MD..
The devastating Spanish flu pandemic followed the next year.
