She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Nathan Young and Ola Lee Young (Tindal); and her siblings, Henrietta Toole, Jewel Baker and Wilson Whetstone.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Franklin Berry; her daughter Donette Kirkland; her grandson Jadon Kirkland; her siblings, Samuel Whetstone and Dell Crim (L. A.); and her siblings-in-law, Earl Toole and Sarah Whetstone. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
