With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas A. Cook Jr. of Swansea, South Carolina, born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away on May 20, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Kate Watts Cook; his daughters, Suzanne Cook Reed and Kathryn Cook; his stepsons, Joshua M. Vandegrift (Rachel) and Gideon W. Vandegrift (Sara Beth); and his grandchildren, Savannah Reed, Easton Vandegrift, Bennett Vandegrift, Oliver Vandegrift, Noah Vandegrift and River Collins. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
