She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxie Leroy Melton and Jessie Mae Williams Melton; and her son John Andrew Buyck. She is survived by: her husband John "Johnny" Norman Buyck; her grandchildren, John Andrew Buyck, Jr. of Sandy Run, SC and Madison Ashley Buyck of Sandy Run, SC; and her sisters, Linda Browder of Gaston, SC and Penny Setser (Larry) of Deland, FL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
