He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Sturkey and Small Mack Sturkey; and his siblings, Ed Sturkey and Rose Whitaker. He is survived by: his wife Billie Tindal Sturkey; his son Randy Sturkey (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Katelyn Meyer, Henry Sturkey and Jayden Rucker; his sisters-in-law, Sandra Heatley and Linda Chavis; and his nephew Johnny Heatley.
