With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold E. Lucas of Swansea, South Carolina, born in Gaston, South Carolina, who passed away on July 31, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Lucas and Carrie Lucas (Mack); his wife Annette L. Lucas; his brothers, Clyde Lucas, Claude Lucas, Jr., Bryant Lucas and William Lucas; and his grandson Travis J. Lucas.
He is survived by: his sons, Bruce W. Lucas (Carla) and Randy L. Lucas (Dee); his grandchildren, Justin R. Lucas and Alison Bailee Croft (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Hannah J. Lucas, Wesley N. Croft and Emery L. Croft; and his sister Barbara Hudson.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Gaston, or the charity of one's choice.
