He is survived by: his spouse Melba Peele; his children, David Courtney (Rebecca), Susan Chambers (Frankie) and Jason Courtney; his great grandchildren, Phillip Scott Westmoreland, Jr., Emalee Cheyanne Westmoreland, Kaison Moore, Breanna Miles, Trent Miles and Brayden Thomas; and also, Ashley Courtney, Caitlin Courtney, Pamela Singleton (Gerald), Amber Miles (Brian) and Kayla Knight.
