He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cele Borofsky and Leonard Borofsky; his wife Laura Borofsky of Surfside Beach, SC; his former wife Betty Aubin; his daughter Amy Merriman (Paul Merriman) of Monroe, CT; his grandchildren, Lindsey and Alison; his son Jeffrey Borofsky (Beth Natt) of Easton, CT; his grandchildren, Amber, Lillian, Sydney and Maxwell; his stepson Sean Reagan (Weizi Zhang) of Palo Alto, California.; and his brother Marvin Borofsky (Ellen Borofsky).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Easton Volunteer Fire Department memorial fund in his name.
