He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Marie (Hacker) and Joseph Francis Reid; his daughter Kimberly Blanton; his granddaughter Kaitlyn Blanton; and his sister Bernice Seaverns.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ballinger; his daughters, Tami DiCostanzo and Deborah Harding; his sons-in-law, Phil DiCostanzo and Bobby Harding; and his grandchildren, Madison Harding, Nikolas Harding, Andrew DiCostanzo and Philip DiCostanzo.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Civil Air Patrol Myrtle Beach Squadron to support cadet education and training.
