It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheila Diane Leahy of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on February 12, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Palmer and Harriet Ward Palmer; and her great grandchild Zander. She is survived by: her husband Jerome H. Leahy; her children, John Leahy (Kathy) of Shelby, NC and Gerallyn Grassie (Bruce) of Murrells Inlet, SC; her grandchildren, Jordon and Sydney; her stepgrandsons, Cory and Colby; her great grandchild Lily; her sister Shari Davidson; and her pets, Rosie, Maya Marie and Moose. She is also survived by loving extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.
