Rebecca Jean Payton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Jean Payton of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, born in Gainesville, Florida, who passed away on July 16, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Payton and Virgie Payton; and her brother Richard A. Payton. She is survived by: her siblings, Pamela Payton Plunkett of Aiken and Robert Wade Payton of Aiken; her nieces, Kimberlie Fralick of Aiken and Brandi Deas (Mark) of Aiken; her nephew David "Clay" Plunkett of Aiken; her uncle Edward; her aunt Joy Hedstrom of Palatka; her pets, Kai and Chevy; and her sister Pam. She is also survived by friends and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare, 199 Willow Run Road, Aiken, SC 29801.
