He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Sackett and Audrey Sackett; his daughter Kimberly Sackett; and his brothers, Dick Sackett and Marty Sackett.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sackett of Surfside Beach; his grandchildren, Thomas Wolf and Megan Wolf of Surfside Beach; his siblings, Sue Scully (Mark), Mark Sackett of Minnesota, Kip Sackett (Liz) of Minnesota, Mike Sackett (Joy) of Minnesota and Jimmy Sackett of Minnesota; and his sisters-in-law, Paula Joyner, Mott Parker (Jackie) of Edisto Island and Carol Sackett of Tennessee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
