We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2025, at the age of 58, John Charles Wilkins of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, born in Mount Holly, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As John departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his father Gordon R. Wilkins Sr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Gordon R. Wilkins Jr. (Mary), Haifa Bint-Kadi, Edith Santiago-Ramos (Eddie), Tamara Madden and Tara Wilkins-McCallister. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Florence National Cemetery (803 E National Cemetery Rd, Florence, SC 29506).
