It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Leslie Reed of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, born in Luzerne, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leslie John Reed, Jr. and Lucille Marie Gallagher Reed; his siblings, Joe and Mary; his wife Gail Reed of Surfside Beach; his children, Jennifer Reed, Paula Massey (Mark), Christy Niel, Daniel Reed, Cory Chaffins (Nathanael) and Eric Reed; and his pet John.
