It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Wayne Smith of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, born in Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Smith (Bud) and Mattie Smith; and his brother Terry Lane Smith. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Koontz Smith; his son Chadwick Smith; his granddaughters, Leia Rhae Smith and Kaylin Grace Coleman; and his siblings, Bobby Smith (Sherry) and Tommie Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
