It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Elaine Beier of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mero and Mary Mero; her husband Gerald Beier; her daughter Elizabeth Ann Zigler; her brother Harry James Mero; and her sister-in-law Marijoan Gollob.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Joseph Beier (Charlotte) of Rochester, NY, James John Beier of Murrells Inlet, SC and Mary Catherine Grouine (Paul) of Flint; her sister Suzanne Jane Mero Mitchell of Prescott, AZ; and her sister-in-law Ann Mero. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
