It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Dewayne Phipps of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, born in Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on August 13, 2022, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Floyd Millard Phipps, Jr. of Surfside Beach. He is survived by: his sons, Kody of Spartanburg and Devin Phipps of Spartanburg; and his siblings, Angela Tomey of Gaffney, Floyd Phipps, III of Gaffney and Randy Phipps (Kisha) of Spartanburg.
To honor his life, his organs were donated to help others. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Help for Our Elderly, Inc., 2375 East Main Street, Spartanburg, South Carolina, 29307.
