We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2024, at the age of 77, Elaine Shelley of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, born in Conway, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert James Roberts and Nettie Richardson Roberts; her husband Harlee Carol "Bill" Shelley; her siblings, Doug Roberts and Geraldine "Gerri" Chestnut; and her significant other Bob Shelley.

She is survived by: her children, Hubert Coleman "Cole" Shelley (Fred Lewis) of Murrells Inlet, Ashley Derek Shelley (Florence) of Murrells Inlet and Pattie Ellen Young (Scott) of Surfside Beach; her grandchildren, Hannah Elizabeth Shelley of Murrells Inlet, Olivia Soteria Shelley of Murrells Inlet, Harlee Lucas Young of Surfside Beach, Coleman Ashley "Cash" Young of Surfside Beach and Eileen Young of Ohio; and her siblings, Windell Roberts (Doris) of Conway, Marionelle Johnson of Galivants Ferry, Judi Brooks (Eddie) of Conway and Debbie Alford (John) of Galivants Ferry. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
