He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert I. Mellies and Ella Rainbolt Mellies Haskins; his stepparent Daryl L. Haskins; and his brother Doyle Mellies. He is survived by: his daughter Anna Lea Eubanks (Sherri); and his granddaughter Riley Eubanks.
