With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Connie Cordell (Surfside Beach, South Carolina), born in Albany, Georgia, who passed away on June 27, 2019 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joel James and Ella Hill Cordell; her children, Elizabeth Lundy Barnard Blum (Buck) and Howard D. Barnard, IV (Julie); her grandchildren, Andrew Ellis Blum, Catherine Cordell Blum, Sarah Elizabeth Barnard, James Cole Barnard and Ella Rose Barnard; her sister Sara Cordell Lewis (Emory); and her sister-in-law Doty Barnard Dunn (JD).
